Thinking in the Life

Oi Girls, What's up?

Gente, foi meio que um desabafo, essa semana tava meio pra baixo, triste, insegura, but now I am well!!

Dear Host Family

Hi, how are you?

My names is Michelle Gonçalves Pereira. I am 25 years old. My birthday is on July 3 th. I live in Brazil, in the state of Bahia, in the city of Salvador, here it is summer the whole year, it is a big capital. There are a lot of beaches, the nature and beautiful and hospitable people. The people are receptive and careful, whoever comes to Salvador gets enchanted.

I live with my mother Neide, my sister Mirella, my brother Jisnei and my dog Pitucha. My parents get divorced, but my dad José comes to see me and my brothers twice in a month. We have a great relationship and I have a wonderful family, I really love my family, we are much closed. I don’t smoke.

I am studying Tourism at university, I am in the last year. With the acquired knowledge during that time of study, I can care for children in a more conscious way. I also can teach your kids some words in Portuguese, if you wish to. I am very responsible, caring, honesty, patient, flexible, loving, energetic, very creative, organized, studious, funny and very, very happy. I believe that dialogue and respect between the au pair and Host Family is vital to the success of the relationship.

On my free time, I read (I love romance) or surf on the internet. When I am with my friends, we love going to the beach ou watching movies. I have a lot of friends. I like to be surrounded by people who I love and respect. I am a good friend.

I have drive license and I dont’t mind driving with a child inside the car, it’s not a problem for me. A car is very important, when you have a kid, because you can take the kid to play and too take the toys.

I simply adore children. My big love and admiration for the kids began when I was still a child, about 10 yers old, when my cousin Alan was born, he was so small and defenseless, from that day on I began to admire the little ones. I started to take care of kids when a friend of the family started to work and she asked me to take care of her childrens. The girl name’s Beatriz, she was 7 years old in that time. I used to prepare and feed her, give her barth, dress them, take them to school by car and help her with homework. I loved to draw, paint and play educative games with she.

My first experience as babysitting was between march and july of  2005 with one girl (Bruna, she was 6 years old), I taught she, played, told stories, prepared dinner and put she to sleep.

I also took care of Kaique, he’s 1 year and 5 months old, but when I took care of his, he was 6 months old, from october 2005 to april of 2006, he’s a very smart boy. His mother is my friend, as she used to work. I used to take care of his baby to his. I used to play with his, feed, bath, etc. I took of his for 5 hours a day 5 days a week. It was one of the best experiences with children.

When my cousins were on vacation, they stood with me for 15 days. Gleyce – 4 and Gabriel – 2 years old, I fed, bathed, played, went with them to parks, cinema, beach and mall, circus, read stories and made them sleepWe had fun a lot together.

When I decided to be a au pair in February of 2006, I began to intensify my care with children in age group between 1 and 5 years old, and acomplishing voluntary work in a private school. I read books for the group of children, we paint and play educative game with them. I love children, I like to play with them, panting, playing ball, playing hide- and- seek, reading books, helping on their homework, bathing, preparing baby’s bottle, putting then to bed, preparing the meals, dancing, taking them for a walk and many other things.

Cotinued ...

My life now... I am on vacation of the university. So, I am caring of Bruno, he’s 4 months old,  4 days a week,  4 hours a day in the morning. I am responsible to take her meals, prepare her meals and bottle, change her nappy, dress, burp, feed her with spoon, put her in bed, walking with her and bath too.  I love her, he’s very carin and loves me too.

To be na Au Pair will be very important for me to know a new culture, to live together with an American family, to improve the language, to study of plenty English and if possible, something related to my university classes also. Besides, I will be in contact with kids, whom I love. and because I simply adore children. I dont‘t speak English very well, but I can understand and be understood.  As I really like children and I know how to take care of them very well, the Au pair program is perfect for me.

I will transmit to my future kids, values as respect, dignity and fraternity, that wecan have fun together, and to take advantage of the affection and culture. I am very anxious so that it arrives the day I will travel, I have many projects and I hope to put them in practice.I hope to be and to make them happy durring that year.  I would like some other information about the family. What are your hobbies? How many kids do you have? How old are they? Do you usually go out on weekends?

I hope you like me and see you soon!

Thanks for your attention!

Ps: Want go for a agência!
